08/18/2009: Lacey was found as a stray. We took her from Animal Control just shortly after she gave birth to 9 puppies. We believe the delivery was too early ,since none of the puppies made it. Lacey is a beautiful, well behaved little girl. She gets along fine with other dogs, cats, and adores people. She is excellent with children as well. Tyler is a 1 year old cattle dog. He had come into the shelter after being hit by a car. They we going to put him down when one of the officers called and asked if we could take him. Please make room for him. He current on vaccinations and has been neutered.

George a handsome little 3 yr old pure bred Rat Terrier.. He is not hyper like the majority of the Rat Terrier's are! 02/18/2010: This little girl is very shy at first. She is a 5 yr old pure bred shih-tzu. She is doggie door, and kennel trained. When she came to the rescue, her right had had collapsed. We have since had her right eye removed, but she is doing just fine. According to the "Rescue" that turned them is, she had been like that for a long time. This does not affect her mobility at all. She is 1 of 12 dogs that were turned over to CPR. They came from an "independent rescue" who can no longer care for them. They all will be current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, wormed, groomed, and on flea preventative when adopted. The adoption fee is $200.00. 10/25/2009: L.B. is a 12-16 week old American Staffordshire Terrier Mix. We do NOT know what she is mixed with. She was turned in by his owners, who were unable to care for her. 09/14/2009: Red was adopted, then had a mishap with his hip. Red is back in foster care and we had to pay a $500.00 Vet bill to have the ball on his hip removed! We desperately need help paying this bill. This has not slowed him down at all! He is starting to use the leg that was operated on.
